The team
Hi there— I’m Josie Colter, the director of creative climate studio— Goldstar. I’m a climate journalist and producer committed to creating inspiring, relatable, and unexpected formats for climate stories. My approach is about finding straightforward and compelling ways to communicate complex and technical concepts.
Goldstar was founded to bring the best-in-class production practices to climate content, because eco isn’t a byword for crap. Green means bold and logical. And creativity and culture is one of the most powerful climate solutions we can apply to make that narrative shift happen.
Run by a climate journalist and a sound engineer, we unite our specialist skills to bring you the best of both worlds – where sound meets story.
We believe the world is ready for a new era of climate storytelling. We exist to platform untold climate stories that can move the dial during this decisive decade. There will be room for shade and nuance. Climate villains and heroes need not exist. Stories will be more than weathervanes of trauma. And people, not politicians, will be agents of progress and change.
Along with my co-founder, Ben Beheshty, we unite the best skills, techniques and approaches across the disciplines of sound and stories to ensure your climate podcast and climate content kicks fossil fuel ass.
